Even if sales and revenue were slightly less than the previous year - which happened to be the best financial year in the company’s 30-year history - CEO Rainer Denndörfer spoke about an extremely successful year in 2023.
After all, we successfully completed many challenging and complex developments in 2023. particularly in the field of pressure sensor technologies. In turn, these developments form an excellent base for additional growth and - what’s almost more important from the CEO’s perspective - ensure long-term self-sufficiency and complete independence.
This “could” allow BD|SENSORS to look towards the future with ease and good deal of confidence.
However, there is the issue of the catastrophic failure of our political players, especially from an economic aspect. A “crash” – both economically and financially - seems inevitable.
In any case, we at BD|SENSORS are prepared for the worst conceivable scenario and have clearly set our course to get back on our feet after the unavoidable crash.
Specifically, this means:
- Expanding technological expertise and capacities for manufacturing basic pressure sensors.
- Driving international sales activities especially outside of the EU. This also involves establishing a sales office in the USA.
- Additional process optimisations, both in administration but especially in production and purchasing, to further increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Focussing on company and staff development, with the aim of promoting continuity to guarantee the independence of the family-owned company BD|SENSORS for the long term, but above all to provide secure jobs for employees and thus ensure their participation in the company’s success.
