Top level calibrations
Since the BD|SENSORS GmbH calibration laboratory is accredited to the DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 Standard it is authorized to perform calibrations according to DakkS [German Accreditation Body] and issue calibration certificates that are nationally and internationally recognized based on the multi-lateral ILAC agreement. Calibrations are carried out compliant with DKD-R 6-1.
The accreditation includes relative and absolute pressures up to 800 bar with measurement uncertainties down to 1.1 ppm. This measurement uncertainty allows calibrations of all pressure measuring instruments such as electronic pressure measuring instruments (measurement transducers, transmitters and pressure sensors), pressure switches and digital pressure gauges with accuracies ≤ 0.1% FSO.
The calibration laboratory uses highly accurate reference standards (piston manometer) and standard instruments (accurate electrical pressure measuring instruments) that, together with our many years of experience, allow us to offer competent calibrations delivered on time.

An overview of our service
We calibrate:
- All pressure measurement devices for positive and negative overpressure and absolute pressure
- electronic pressure measurement devices such as transmitters and sensors
- pressure switches
- digital gauges
Adjustments are made if requested by the customer.
Why calibrate?
- The internal use of measurement and test equipment that is not calibrated runs the risk of defective products being delivered to customers. This can result in costly complaints.
- Process reliability increases significantly when calibrated measurement and test equipment is used.
- The relevant standards relating to quality assurance require measurement and test equipment to be tested at regular intervals.
The recommended calibration cycle for electrical and mechanical pressure measurement devices is 1 year.

Measurement reports - sample
The calibration reports that we offer for pressure measurement devices serve as proof that they comply with manufacturer specifications. This information gives end users full confidence in the measurement device and its internal measurements. The calibrations are performed with recalibrated test equipment in our company; the recalibration to national or international standards of the internally-used electronic pressure references is carried out in the accredited calibration laboratory of BD|SENSORS GmbH.
