More donations for the children in need and animal shelters in the district

Getting involved on a regional scale has always been important to BD|SENSORS. This is why it has become a tradition for the family-run business to support the “Live and Learn in Kenya” organisation and the two animal shelters in Selb and Breitenbrunn in the Wunsiedel district.

Both animal shelters currently have plenty residents to feed - and there are also plans to extensively renovate the outdoor area in Selb – which is why they are grateful for the donations of €2,500 to each shelter, which were handed over to the facilities by Rainer Denndörfer and Claudia Jena.

“Live and Learn in Kenya”, which provides schooling for disadvantaged children in the Ronda slums in Nakuru, already received a symbolic donation check for €1,000 at the Christmas market in Selb this year. The donation is being put towards running costs such as the students’ daily lunch and medical treatment.
