In a move to promote sustainability, BD|SENSORS has decided not to send Christmas gifts to customers and business partners in 2024. Instead, the company will support local educational institutions to encourage the youngest residents in the area.
The donations will benefit the ' Zweckverband Kindertagesstätten Höchstädt – Thierstein ', specifically the Spatzennest daycare center in Thierstein, the Arche Noah house for children in Höchstädt and the Fichtelkids daycare center in Thierstein. The donated funds will be used to purchase, for example, gym mats, foam building blocks for the gym and table games. The Thierstein-Höchstädt elementary school is also being considered. In January 2025, the pupils will take part in a workshop with a life kinetics coach to train their motoric skills and perception.
The donation was handed over in a festive setting in the “Alte Schmiede”, Thierstein, in the presence of representatives from BD|SENSORS and the special-purpose association.
BD|SENSORS wishes all kindergarten and school children lots of fun with the new purchases and is pleased to be able to contribute to the promotion of education in the region.
