The signal from the specially designed silicon sensor is processed by the newly developed digital electronic system, performing thus an active compensation of sensor-specific deviations such as hysteresis, thermal errors and non-linearity.

In addition, the DMP 331 Pi is optionally available with an RS232 communication interface and allows the offset, span and damping to be set on a customer-specific basis.
This pressure transmitter is available in an intrinsically safe version for a use in explosive environments.
