Despite the challenging conditions currently dominating the markets and Germany as well, CEO Rainer Denndörfer had only positive news to report regarding the business growth of BD|SENSORS at the annual Works Assembly meeting. Over the past fiscal year, the company generated a growth in sales of around 14%, exceeding the €30 million mark for the first time in the company’s history. This positive development also has a knock-on effect on the company’s capital and revenue situation.
As a result of combined efforts and a purchasing policy that is visionary yet especially determined, the global supply chains that are necessary for the company were stabilised, allowing production to operate at virtually normal levels. An outstanding achievement for all those employees involved, who were specifically praised once again during the meeting.
A number of initiatives have been set in Thierstein for 2023 as well and with their meticulous planning, they are looking optimistically to the future as ever. The company’s existing strong position in the current focus markets should be pursued further, and the expansion of the thriving markets in the Middle East or North America is to be developed further with the foundation of two new subsidiaries in Turkey and the USA.
CEO Rainer Denndörfer sharply criticised the Federal Republic’s economic and social policies and spoke about the “traffic light” coalition’s credo of irresponsibility and incompetence that may ruin the SME sector – which is still being emphasised as the engine of Germany’s economy – with its measures. He presented the company’s situation as being all the more exceptional since BD|SENSORS is currently doing better than ever, despite adverse government conditions and bureaucratic hurdles.
Closing quote from Rainer Denndörfer: “Since its foundation, BD|SENSORS has been the rebellious industrial company on the edge of the Fichtel Mountains – simply invincible.”
