MOTOR SPORTS TEAM KRAEMER
Helmut and Andreas Krämer are both involved with Motorsport Club MSC Marktredwitz and are currently taking part in the Slalom Series.
Helmut Krämer’s passion for motorsport can be traced back to the 1970s. At this time he competed in circuit races, hill climbs and slalom races driving a BMW 2002 ti. He celebrated his greatest successes with a class win to mark the 50th anniversary of the Avus in Berlin 1972, the North Bavarian Hill-Climb Championship in 1972 and numerous finishes at the front in slalom championships.
After a break of several years, he started actively participating in races again in 2000, this time supported by a member of his own family in the form of his son Andreas. Both took turns in competing in the Slalom category; Helmut became Bavarian Champion in the 2002 season in a Peugeot 206 S16. .
In 2014 the two motorsport enthusiasts swapped vehicle and then raced in a sponsored BMW M3 in the G1 class – the strongest series class in the Slalom category.
The championships extend over the full year with more than 300 drivers on the starting grid and around 25 events, one of which takes place right on the doorstep on the car park of Autohof Thiersheim.
Both of the Krämers performed brilliantly with outstanding results, although Helmut now has to concede defeat to his son Andreas.
BD|SENSORS wishes both of the motorsport enthusiasts successful and above all accident-free races.
