In a pre-Christmas atmosphere, a symbolic cheque was handed over to the association “Leben und Lernen in Kenia” e.V. at this year's Christmas market in Selb. The association, which has been committed to the education of children in the Ronda slums of Nakuru (Kenya) for many years, once again received a generous donation of 1,000 euros from BD|SENSORS.
The cheque was handed over at the association's sales stand, which raises funds for the project with handmade products from Selb and Kenya. This annual meeting marks the 14th time that the aid organization has been supported by BD|SENSORS.
“Leben und Lernen in Kenia” e.V. enables children from kindergarten age to receive a school education, medical care and regular meals and thus have the prospect of a better future. The school project is growing steadily and offers more and more children the chance of an education and decent basic care.
